2017-present   ASSISTANT PROFESSOR & LOGISTICS DIVISION CHIEF, Air Force Institute of Technology, Department of Operational Sciences, Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH. Guides career/educational activities of 48 masters and 3 PhD students. Schedules faculty course load and class offerings for five logistics master’s education tracks. Conducts defense-focused research and teaches in logistics and supply chain management master’s and PhD programs.

2013-2017       STUDENT, AFIT PhD Program, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Institute for Data, Systems and Society, Cambridge, MA. Competitively selected for the Air Force Institute of Technology Faculty Pipeline program. Accomplished independent research examining the role of supply chain financing and resource allocation in developing countries.

2012-2013       EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT to the Commander, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy. Responsible for planning and managing all aspects of the DLA Energy Commander’s schedule, travel and daily/long-range activities. Provided crucial support and petroleum management background to help to aid in the strategic and daily operations for the Department of Defense’s global energy provider with an annual operating budget of $20 billion.

2010-2012       STUDENT, Graduate Logistics and Supply Chain Management, AFIT, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.  Competitively selected for intense 18-month Air Force Graduate Logistics and Supply Chain Management program.  Accomplished independent research to assess air cargo and passenger routing in Afghanistan.

2009- 2010      LOGISTICS FLIGHT COMMANDER, 612 Air Base Squadron, Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. Led 36 military and two civilian personnel across six functionally diverse career fields. Managed $300K annual logistics budget in support of United States Southern Command’s humanitarian, disaster relief and counter-narcotics missions.

2008                OPERATIONS OFFICER, 70th Medium Truck Detachment, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Led unit that successfully ran 85 missions, transported 189K cargo tons, and 3.2 million total miles in Iraq.

2005-2009       VEHICLE MANAGEMENT & MATERIEL MANAGEMENT FLIGHT COMMANDER / ASSISTANT INSTALLATION DEPLOYMENT OFFICER, 96 Logistics Readiness Squadron, Eglin Air Force Base, FL. Supervised 75 military and 33 civilian personnel across 14 work centers, maintaining a fleet of 1,923 vehicles. Coordinated wartime planning, mobility and disaster preparedness for programs for squadron of 523 personnel.
