Engaged in a multidisciplinary graduate program emphasizing critical thinking and operational problem solving in areas such as joint air operations planning, leadership, military theory, airpower strategy and operations, and international security. Certified as a joint air planner, executing multiple repetitions of the joint planning process, all-domain operations, and 5-paragraph orders. Served as Flight Lead for a diverse group of 12 members, including three international officers, orchestrating strategic leadership that reinforced policies, promoted academic excellence, and maintained high standards of military courtesy and morale. Deputy Chief, Operational Assessment Team Strategy Division, 609 Air Operations Center, April 2022 – October 2022
Led team of six operations research analysts to assess air campaign effectiveness for Operation INHERENT RESOLVE and Operation SPARTAN SHIELD. Developed framework to assess agile combat employment, partner nation integration, and combat readiness development operations occurring throughout the theater. Served as the Combined Forces Air Component Commander’s resident artificial intelligence and machine learning expert. Synchronized efforts across the 609th Air Operations Center with Kessel Run, the Air Force Institute of Technology, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; ultimately sparking the development of an Air Force Central data strategy focused on data governance, culture, infrastructure, and education. Applied data mining techniques to gather and analyze data from disparate systems across the air operations center.
Chief, Data Science and Operations Research Division, Department of Operational Sciences, Air Force Institute of Technology, August 2020 – December 2021
Led division of 15 military and civilian Ph.D. faculty members. Supervised curriculum development across courses, coordinated student admissions, and scheduled course instruction for nine operations research graduate programs. Provided professional military guidance and academic supervision to 65 masters and 26 doctoral students within the division.
Assistant Professor of Operations Research, Department of Operational Sciences, Air Force Institute of Technology, June 2019 – June 2023
Developed, instructed, and evaluated graduate-level coursework in stochastic modeling and analysis, empirical modeling, and machine learning. Advised seven Air Force officers on academic, personal, and professional matters to ensure on-time graduation from both Masters and PhD Operations Research programs. Published state-of-the art operations research results in top-tier technical proceedings and peer-reviewed academic journals. Delivered collaborative research to support Department of Defense agencies and ensured responsiveness to operations relevant requirements.

Conducted extensive research on the Army’s aerial medical evacuation system. Graduated AFIT’s Master of Science in Operations Research degree program as a distinguished graduate (i.e., top 10%) with a 4.0 GPA in March 2017. Graduated AFIT’s Doctor of Philosophy in Operations Research degree program with a 3.92 GPA in June 2019 with a major of optimization and minor of applied statistics.
Long Range Systems Strike Analyst and Chief, Force Structure Assessments, Directorate of Strategic Plans, Programs, Requirements, and Assessments, Air Force Global Strike Command A9, January 2013 – July 2015
Constructed modeling and simulation concepts and capabilities to represent B-52 and B-2 nuclear generations. Developed and presented analytical training modules to incoming Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) personnel monthly. Directed seminal force improvement analysis for the 620th Ground Combat Training Squadron and participated in various AFGSC exercises (e.g., Strategic Vigilance). Led multiple research efforts to improve command level analytical tools and assessments to ensure safe, secure, and effective nuclear weapon systems.
