I comissioned into the USAF in 2011 and my first assignment was the C-17 SPO where I worked for two years before transfoering the AFRL/RQ for a year.  Then I got accepted at AFIT for a MSEE (focus in Electro Optics).  After graduating, I went back to AFR/RV (Space Vehicles Directorate) for three years.  During that time, I was deployed for eight months as the exec to the AFCENT/A3 CC.  Afterwards, I was accepted to AFIT's PhD program with for their faculty pipeline.  I studied electro-optics with a focus on polarized light and graduated in 2022.  Seince 2022 I have been teaching Electro Optics courses here at AFIT.

My research interests include: Space Domain Awareness (with a focus on optical systems), Polarimetrics, Atmospheric Turbulance Mitigation, and Remote Target Characterization (with a focus on optical systems).
