Maj Theuerkauf‘s research interests include computational and experimental work relating to combustion and detonation, with particular focus on thermal management. His experience includes four years of detonation and small engine research in the combustion branch of AFRL, two years at the Air Systems Research Center in Tachikawa, Japan as part of the Engineer and Scientist Exchange Program, and two years in AFLCMC as part of the F119 engine sustainment engineering team.
