Capt Guillermo Salcedo is Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.  He entered the Air Force in 2005 as an Avionics Systems Apprentice. Prior to commissioning, he served at five duty locations and deployed multiple times to the Southwest Asia area of responsibility in support of operations ENDURING FREEDOM, HORN OF AFRICA, and INHERENT RESOLVE. During this time, he worked on a variety of electronic warfare, reconnaissance, and avionics systems aboard multiple aircraft to include F?15E, F16, U-2, and F-22A. Capt Salcedo commissioned in 2019 after completing Officer Training School. Prior to his current position, he served as a Program Systems Engineer and Executive Officer in the Persistent Infrared Analysis Squadron, part of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
