Maj Bettinger's research interests include re-entry dynamics, spacecraft design, and optimization and control for aerospace applications.  Recent research includes developing optimal skip re-entry maneuvers for altering spacecraft orbital elements. Maj Bettinger is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Sigma Gamma Tau.
