Maj Bettinger's research interests include re-entry dynamics, spacecraft design, optimization and control for aerospace applications, and spacecraft survivability. Recent research includes cislunar debris propagation analysis, cislunar orbit design, and 6 degree-of-freedom reentry analysis. Maj Bettinger is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Sigma Gamma Tau.
