Thomas Talafuse is an assistant professor of Operations Research in the Department of Operational Sciences.  Tom’s research interests include reliability and reliability growth, risk analysis, applied statistics, and engineering optimization. Tom is the military deputy director for the Scientific Test and Analysis Techniques Center of Excellence.

Major Talafuse is a member of the Institute for Industrial and Systems Engineers, Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences, and Military Operations Research Society.
