Ms. Tammy L Bugher is a Course Director, Director of Instructional Systems, and Faculty Council Standards Committee Chair for the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) School of Systems and Logistics at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio. As Course Director, she teaches and manages faculty academic instruction. As a Director of Instructional Systems, she is a practitioner of instructional systems design and a program manager for contractor developed courses. As a Faculty Council Standards Committee Chair, she advocates for and helps establish faculty standards.
Prior to her current assignment in AFIT/LS, Ms. Bugher earned her Master’s in Education with an emphasis on Instructional Systems Design. She served 4 years in the Air Force and is a Desert Storm Veteran. She has experience as a learning consultant, an adjunct faculty member teaching writing and business, and has helped many organizations achieve ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and/or CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) quality certifications.

Active member of the AFIT Faculty Council to advance the development of our faculty.
Working with the WPJFC (Wright Patterson Junior Force Council) to serve as an advisory board for the 88th Air Base Wing to provide recommendations to senior leadership about mentoring, career development, improving communications, strengthening feedback, recognition and appreciation, supervisory resources, and other such matters.
