Bob Lee is the Nuclear 150 Course Manager and Nuclear 400 Alternate Course Manager at the Air Force Nuclear College, Kirtland AFB, NM.  He received a commission in the United States Air Force from USAF Officer Training School in April 1976.  After being awarded his Wings from Navigator Flight School in January 1977 and completing initial B-52 qualification, he had two operational flying assignments at the 28th Bomb Wing at Ellsworth AFB, SD and 416th Bomb Wing at Griffiss AFB, NY.  His next assignment, November 1984 – October 1988, was flying B-52 flight test at Edwards AFB, CA.  In 1987, he was selected as one of three SAC Weapon System Officers to the initial B-2 OT&E cadre.  During his assignment at Edwards, he maintained dual qualification in the B-52 and KC-135, and flew several T-38, F-4, and F-16 test missions accruing exactly 3000 flying hours.  His next two assignments were Headquarters SAC at Offutt AFB, NE as a B-2 Action Officer and Headquarters AFOTEC, Kirtland AFB, NM as the B-2 Operational Test Manager.  In 1995, he moved to Keesler AFB, MS where he served in the 81st Training Group as the 336th Training Squadron Commander.  Bob retired from the Air Force in November 2001, totaling 27 1/2 years of active duty.  Since retiring, Bob has worked as a contractor and other civil service positions before landing at the Air Force Nuclear College in 2016.
