Mr. Zink is a Training Specialist and qualified Ordnance Equipment Specialist assigned to the Air Force Institute of Technology, Operating Location – Kirtland. In addition to serving as the Senior Instructor for the Air Force Nuclear College, he is the course manager and primary instructor for the Air Force Nuclear Certification Process Course and the Air Force Nuclear Certified Equipment (NCE) Users Course.  Mike retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years as an Aircraft Armament Systems Technician.  He has experience on the B-1B, B-52H, F-15E, and F-16 aircraft.  His last assignment was at the AF Safety Center, Kirtland AFB, as the Program Superintendent for Nuclear Certified Support Equipment. Mike grew up in Yorktown, VA and joined the Air Force after attending Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. He entered civil service in 2006 and has over 35 years of experience working in the USAF Nuclear Enterprise.
