Maj Jason Crosby

Maj Crosby is assigned to the Air Force Institute of Technology in the Department of Systems and Software Engineering Management.  He is currently an assistant professor in Systems Engineering.  Specifically he supports the Air Force Research Laboratory with their primary Science & Technology Management course, LAB202, for their 4000+ Engineering workforce.  In addition He supports the test community with numerous online, and facilitated test courses. 

 

Maj Crosby’s previous assignment as the Chief of Testing and Evaluation at the eSchool of Graduate PME, Air Command and Staff College, Air University, Air Education and Training Command, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama saw him manage the DoD’s only fully online Master’s degree program which graduated 645 students under his watch.  Aditionally, Major Crosby led the transition of 22 thousand Air University students to Arizona State University’s systems. 

 

Major Crosby was born April 17, 1982 in Charleston, South Carolina and graduated with honors from the Citadel with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 2004.  He earned his commission in May 2004.  Other tours for Major Crosby include 2 tours in the Air Force Research Lab, 2 tours as an AFIT student, and 1 tour in the 46th Test Group.  Major Crosby is married to Brittany Crosby, and has two children.
