Mr. John W. Robertson is a Professional Continuing Education Fellow specializing in Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) Education at the Louisiana Tech Research Institute (LTRI). He is responsible for NC3 course curriculum review, coordination, liaison, development, and delivery. His knowledge of the NC3 weapons system ensures that the US Air Force remains a partner to LTRI in its efforts to support national security, provide next-door access to a dedicated applied research and development center, build focused competencies to attract talent and industry, and serve as the official home for cyber, defense, and intelligence-related education, training, and workforce development programs for North Louisiana and beyond.
Mr. Robertson graduated from Grace King High School in Metairie, Louisiana where he lettered in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps and began his 24-year Air Force career. During this time, he dedicated over 20 years to the nuclear enterprise; specializing in aircraft armament with time periods in test and evaluation and the Nuclear Weapons Sustainment and Evaluation Program. His Air Force journey culminated at the Joint Nuclear Operations Center in the 8th Air Force Headquarters, where he guided a battle staff of 30 personnel through the sustainment, preparation, and execution of the NC3 weapons system. Mr. Robertson earned has his Level II Community College of the Air Force Instructor Certificate with over 3000 hours of classroom instruction. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Military Management and Program Acquisition with a concentration in Leadership.
