Ms. JoAnn Erno is the Director of the AF Cyberspace Technical Center of Excellence (AF CyTCoE) at the Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio. She is a retired Air Force Officer with Space Operations, Flight Test Engineering, Research and Development, and Acquisition Program Management expertise. After retiring, Ms. Erno served as an engineering and acquisition program management subject matter expert on several fighter, bomber, and airlift major acquisition programs. She also served on major defense contractors’ strategic planning staffs where she developed strategic portfolios for unmanned systems. As a government civilian, Ms. Erno has led advanced technology research teams culminating in technology transition of unmanned systems autonomy and sensing autonomy software programs. Ms. Erno is a graduate of the United States Air Force Test Pilot School Flight Test Engineering course. She also holds degrees in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, and recently obtained a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Wright State University. In addition to her government program management, test, and engineering acquisition certifications, Ms. Erno holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) Credential and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
