Dr. Linda G. Lawson, Ctr
Dr. Linda Lawson, contractor with Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), joined the Scientific Test and Analysis Techniques Center of Excellence (STAT COE) and Homeland Security Community of Best Practices (HS COBP) in 2026.
As a STAT Expert, she provides support in the areas of mathematical modeling, optimization, testing, validation, and data analysis.
Before joining STAT COE. Dr. Lawson spent 26 Years conduting Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) research for AFRL DOD Programs involving Computational Electromagnetics (CEM); Electronic Warfare (EW); RF, EO/IR Sensing; and Multi-Domin Engagement Mission Executions.
Dr. Lawson holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Georgia (UGA), a MS in Applied Mathematical Sciences from UGA, and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Clemson University.
