Primary research interest includes device hardware identification, tracking and/or location using Distinct Native Attribute (DNA) Fingerprinting in communication, navigation, radar, and cyber applications.  Responsible for fostering the historical evolotuion of capabilities that now include reliable device discrimination using Radio Frequency (RF-DNA), Wired Signal (WS-DNA) and Constellation Based (CB-DNA) features in a manner similar to how human DNA is used to uniquely identify individuals.  DNA-based research, development, and demonstration activity has been sustained with assistance from more than 100 graduate MS and PhD student researchers funded by sponsor and research grant funding exceeding $2M.
