Dr. Denver Johnson is the Nuclear 300 Course Manager for the Department of Nuclear Studies at Kirtland AFB, NM. Prior to this, he served 15 years as a Federal Agent for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) transporting and protecting U.S. nuclear weapons, components and other National Security assets. Dr. Johnson has also worked for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a Special Response Team member protecting Special Nuclear Material. He also was a Deputy Sheriff inSacramento, CA. Additionally, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Forces member-- Active Duty and Reserves--totaling ten years. Dr. Johnson was also the Director of the University of New Haven's National Security Graduate Program for Sandia National Laboratory for six years teaching at the graduate level. Dr. Johnson is currently an Adjunct Instructor for Wayland Baptist University teaching undergraduate criminal justice courses.
