Welcome to the D'Azzo Research Library

Library's Transition to New ILL service in August

ILLiad, the interlibrary loan service AFIT uses to process your requests, is in the process of being retired by the company that runs it. To stay ahead of the curve, we are transitioning our interlibrary loan system to Tipasa and will be going live with our new system at the end of August.
What this means for you:
Beginning 30 August 2018, you will be automatically redirected to the Tipasa interface instead of ILLiad. You will still be able to log into ILLiad to retrieve your request history, but all new requests must be submitted through Tipasa.

To make an Interlibrary Loan request during the transition period, August 28-29, please contact your library liaison or email

Please note that your request history and your available articles from Illiad  will disappear 30 days after we go live, so be sure to download any information you need before then.
You will be asked to create  a new ID and password for Tipasa. Requests in process will automatically be transferred to the new system and will be linked to your new account once created.
The system will look different - and hopefully better! It should be easier to check on your requests, download articles and renew your books.
Your requests will continue to be processed quickly. Tipasa streamlines the staff side of work, so your requests should arrive even faster.
Feel free to contact our interlibrary loan specialist, Kathi Spejcher, with any questions.
