Over forty-four years of experience in administration, research and education within an Engineering College. Supervised and administered faculty within a departmental division. Developed research efforts and course offerings in composite materials, fracture mechanics and finite element techniques. Highly involved in technical society activity as chairperson and founder of various committees. Author of over six hundred presentations and publications, two hundred and forty-two are archival. Co-author of a textbook entitled, “Nonlinear Analysis of Shell Structures,” published by AIAA Educational Series, 1992. Registered Professional Engineer - Ohio (initial registration in New York). Delivered invited lectures at a number of academic institutions. Advised 30 PhD’s, 15 Post Docs, and over one hundred seventy MS theses. Fellow of AIAA, AAM, EMI, and ASCE. Obtained over $5 million in funded research. Received the Outstanding Engineer and Scientist Award from the Affiliate Society of Dayton in 2011 and appointed Distinguished Professor Aerospace Engineering 2011.
