Dr. Weeks has a B.A., Physics, Colgate University (1993), an MS, Physics, Georgia Institute of Technology (1985) and Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas (1989). In his over 25 years at AFIT he has taught a variety of graduate physics courses including Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Mechanics, Quantum Chemistry, Group Theory, and Quantum Optics, and served as advisor for 1 postdoctoral researcher, 11 PhD students, and 14 MS students. He has authored 37 journal articles, 16 conference proceedings, 70 conference presentations, and 2 book chapters. Professor Weeks has been the principal investigator for 9 research grants and a co-PI on 10 research grants.
