Dr. Mark A. Gallagher is a Professor of Practice of Operations Research in the Department of Operational Sciences at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson AFB. Dr. Gallagher has served as Technical Director, Senior Leader at AF/A9 2009 - 2019. He also served in US Stratagic Command and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Cost Analysis Improvement Group (CAIG) in the now Cost Analysis and Program Evaluation (CAPE).
Dr. Gallagher is a fellow of the Military Operations Research Society (MORS), council member of the Military Application and Security (MAS) Society, member of the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science (INFORMS), and is a life member of the Air Force Association and Fellowship of Catholic Scholars.
