Lt Col Chandra Pasillas, PhD
Assistant Professor of Atmospheric Science
Lt Col Chandra M. Pasillas is an Assistant Professor of Atmospheric Science at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. She was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and graduated from Choctawhatchee Senior High School in May 2000. In June 2000, Major Pasillas entered as a Cadet into the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). After graduation from USAFA, she commissioned as a Weather Officer in June 2004. Major Pasillas is a Senior Parachutist graduating from Basic Airborne School, Fort Benning, GA in August 2007 and from the 82nd Airborne Army Jumpmaster School, Fort Bragg, NC in February 2009. She received her Master of Science in Atmospheric Science from the Naval Postgraduate school in 2013. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy from Colorado State University in May 2023.
