Dr. Brent Langhals is an Associate Professor of Information Resource Management at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.  His research interests include data analytics, database, human-computer interaction, systems engineering, psychophysiological cues and vigilance.  Author of refereed journal articles and conference papers and has served as reviewer for dozens of journal publications.  He is currently the director for the AFIT Data Analytics Program as well as curriculum chair for the Information Systems specialization track.  He is actively involved research related to Data Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems and Systems Engineering within the Department of Systems and Engineering Management.  He has directly advised and graduated 38 in-residence and 21 distance learning Masters and PhD students.  Dr. Langhals teaches courses in Database, Data Analytics, Data Communications, Strategic Information Management, and Systems Process Improvement.
