Dr. Benjamin T. Hazen Phd, Associate Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Dr. Ben Hazen, is an Adjunct Professor, Associate Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Department of Operational Sciences at the Air Force Institute of Technology. He is also a Faculty Affiliate of the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at the University of Tennessee. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1999, working in the field of Satellite and Wideband Communications. In 2006 he earned his commission as a distinguished graduate of Officer Training School and became an Aircraft Maintenance Officer.
Ben is the co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Defense Analytics and Logistics and a Senior Associate Editor at the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management. He also serves on the editorial review board at three other journals, and has published more than 65 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals such as the Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, International Journal of Logistics Management, International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Industrial Marketing Management, Technometrics, Communication of the Association for Information Systems, and others.
