The Center for Directed Energy was awarded an AFOSR-sponsored Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI) with University of Dayton (lead) and four other collaborating schools on the topic title";Wave Optics of Deep Atmospheric Turbulence: From Underlying Physics towards Predictive Modeling, Mitigation and Exploitation". Total award is $4.5M for three years with $3.0M for two option years. CDE will receive $270k per year.
