The goal of The Civil Engineer School is to maximize the safety of all students, faculty and staff. We will continue to adjust our policies as the situation unfolds.
Effective 1 September 2021, Wright-Patterson AFB is operating under Health Protection Condition (HPCON) Charlie. While under HPCON Charlie and through December 2021, The Civil Engineer School plans to maximize distance learning delivery methods and consider in-resident course offerings on a case-by-case basis only.
WMGT 101 will proceed in-resident in October 2021 as scheduled.
COURSE: WMGT 480 High Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements
OBJECTIVE:FY22 - This course will be under construction for revisions. Estimated time for update completion is MARCH 2022.
For each student to comprehend the guiding principles of High Performance and Sustainable Buildings as well as to enhance their skills to effectively apply those principles to the design, construction, and maintenance of assets on an Air Force installation. Graduates of this course will be equipped with the fundamentals to execute mandated practices as directed in the Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-02, High Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements.
This distance learning course teaches students the fundamentals of High Performance and Sustainable Building requirements, strategies for designing and developing sustainable projects, benefits and challenges involved in sustainable practices, and hands-on experience needed to program sustainable projects.
Air Force Civil Engineer Officers and civilian equivalents as well as Civil Engineer NCO/SNCOs interested and involved in High Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements.
Other interested parties.
