Officer and Enlisted
The Graduate School of Engineering and Management admits officers and enlisted personnel of the U.S. Coast Guard who have, or will have received by the time of enrollment, a baccalaureate granted by a regionally accredited college or university. Such applications are examined with regard to the student's breadth of education, preparation and fitness for graduate work in the proposed field of study, and expectation of scholarly attainment.
The Graduate School of Engineering and Management offers advanced degree educational opportunities in programs that meet the stated needs of the Department of Defense. Applicants for these programs are normally expected to have prepared for graduate study through undergraduate or previous graduate work in science, mathematics, engineering, management, or business areas. Applicants must meet the general admission requirements of the Institution and any specific admission requirements of the department in which they plan to study. Program lengths are dependent upon qualifications and decisions for admission into any program and program lengths reside with the individual departments.
