Internships & Co-Ops

 

Position Overview

As an intern/co-op student in the ANT Center, you will work closely with AFIT faculty, prototype engineers, and lab technicians to advance the state of the art in autonomy and navigation technologies for the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to experimental data collections, filtering frameworks and hardware/software integration for navigation solutions, GUI development for GPS jamming scenarios, test and evaluation of cooperative unmanned ground systems and multi-rotor indoor UAS platforms, source code verification and documentation, and UAV process automation in our Viconmotion capture flight chamber.

 

Desired Programming

Applicants must have experience in one or more of the following programming languages:

  • MATLAB
  • Java/Kotlin
  • Python
  • C++
Preferred Skills and Experience 
  • Basic knowledge of Kalman filtering
  • Embedded systems
  • Timing or networking systems
  • Unity 3D
  • GitHub
  • GUI development
  • Ubuntu/Linux
  • CMake
  • Framework tests

Who May Apply
