Consortium of Ohio Universities on Navigation and Timekeeping (COUNT)
In order to foster scientific, educational, and collaborative research opportunities within the local navigation and timekeeping community, four Ohio-based universities have joined together to form the Consortium of Ohio Universities on Navigation and Timekeeping (COUNT). The Ohio State University (Columbus), Ohio University (Athens), Miami University (Oxford), and the Air Force Institute of Technology (Wright-Patterson Air Force Base) are some of the top-ranked universities in the areas of precision navigation, accurate timekeeping, registration, and geospatial technologies. This regional cluster of universities trains more undergraduate and graduate students in these specific areas than any other group in the nation. It is the privilege of the ANT Center to represent AFIT’s technical leadership within this regional consortium, which is recognized nationally as a strong asset in the development of industrial professionals.
