The Office of Admissions informs interested individuals about graduate degree programs available at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Graduate School of Engineering and Management, processes all applications for admission, and for current students, all applications for change of enrollment.
The Graduate School of Engineering and Management offers graduate degree and certificate opportunities in programs designed to meet the stated needs of the active duty military (including reserve component members on orders), DoD civilians, full-time U.S. government employees, defense industry employees, and homeland security industry employees.
Applications are examined with regard to the student's breadth of education, preparation and fitness for graduate work in the proposed field of study, and expectation of scholarly attainment. Applicants for graduate degree programs are expected to have prepared for graduate study through previous undergraduate or graduate course work in science, mathematics, engineering, management, or business areas. Applicants must meet the general admission requirements of the institution and be approved by the department in which they plan to study. Exact program lengths are dependent upon the applicant qualifications, and final decision for acceptance into any program and the required program length resides with the individual departments.
The Graduate School of Engineering and Management does accept transfer credit. You can find more information by clicking HERE.
