New Course Catalog Course Description

COURSE: WMGT 570 Civil Engineer Superintendent Course

OBJECTIVE:  To enhance each student's knowledge of Civil Engineer and related processes to better prepare future CE superintendents. To introduce managing multiple CE personnel (mil & civ) and better understand the working relationship between flights, career fields, AFCEC, MAJCOMs, AFIMSC, and Air Staff personnel.
DESCRIPTION:  Students will learn a broad range of CE related knowledge and processes to include doctrine, mission, history, organizational structure, assignments, manpower, resources, flight responsibilities, training, deployments, military/civilian personnel, and leadership perspectives.

CEUs: 6.0
PRIMARY AUDIENCE:  Active Duty Civil Engineer SMSgts and selects, and AFRC/ANG Civil Engineer CMSgts, SMSgts and MSgts prioritized by their respective MAJCOM Functional Manager
SECONDARY AUDIENCE:  MSgts based on recommendation from MAJCOM Functional Manager and or Squadron Senior Enlisted Leader
PREREQUISITES: Student Type Enlisted--run system audit for award of CCAF degree information (degree must be completed) Student Type Enlisted--Run System audit for completion of SNCOA DL or Resident Completion and return information (course must be completed)
