COURSE: WMSS 700 Senior Civil Engineer Officer Seminar

OBJECTIVE:  For each student to understand the unique responsibilities and challenges as Senior Civil Engineers. Students shall comprehend Civil Engineer and Air Force governance, the role of Civil Engineers in the strategic environment, Civil Engineer information technology and analytical tools, executive leadership and strategic communication for senior Civil Engineer officers and civilians, and Civil Engineer force development.
DESCRIPTION:  This course provides 32E Officer and Senior Civilian Airmen continuing education at the senior leader level. It will expose newly selected senior Civil Engineer officers and civilians to the topics, responsibilities and expectations of their new positions within the Civil Engineer enterprise. Instruction will be provided by a senior Civil Engineer officer course mentor and senior subject matter experts from inside and outside the Civil Engineer enterprise.
PRIMARY AUDIENCE:  32E colonel-selects; 32E colonels with less than two years time-in-grade and Civil Engineer GS-15s with less than two years time-in-grade (former O-5+ officers within last 5 years ineligible unless approved by Civilian DT Chair)
SECONDARY AUDIENCE:  GS-15s or GS-14s only by Civilian DT Chair approval
PREREQUISITES: None
