New Course Catalog Course Description

COURSE: WMSS 575 Engineer Readiness Planning Seminar

OBJECTIVE:  Prepare tactical engineer leaders to plan realistic and relevant training for the pacing challenge.
DESCRIPTION:  Seminar curriculum will prepare Civil Engineer CGO's, SNCO's, and NCO's to plan and execute team readiness events within the AFFORGEN cycle. Content includes identifying training requirements, developing training plans, running training exercises, and providing feedback and evaluation. Students will be provided the most up-to-date information on doctrinal changes and region-specific threats. Mentors and functional area experts will guide students through training program development. By course end, students will generate a tailored team training plan and will develop a training exercise for implementation at a Combat Support Training Range.
