COURSE: WHSS 314 OCONUS Housing ManagementOBJECTIVE: For each student to understand the functional responsibilities of the OCONUS government-controlled housing management office, to include customer service, day-to-day operations, planning, programming, assignments, retention, terminations, inspections, maintenance, housing referral and relocation, GOQ management, Unaccompanied Housing management, furnishings management, leasing, financial management, and other housing functions. Apply functional skills and team principles to realistic problem scenarios. DESCRIPTION: This course presents the functional responsibilities of installation housing management for OCONUS housing managers and their staff. Course content encompasses: roles and responsibilities, government controlled housing operations and its governing directives/policies, special programs within housing operations, programming and financial management, unaccompanied personnel housing management, housing support services, furnishings management, General Officer Quarters management and human resources management.
