COURSE: WHSS 404 General Officer Quarters ManagementOBJECTIVE: For each student to have knowledge of the laws and an understanding of the policies, principles, and processes and their application to the daily management and oversight of Air Force General Officer Quarters (GOQ) program. DESCRIPTION: The course is designed to provide Senior Housing Managers and those involved in the day-to-day management of AF GOQs with a knowledge of the laws and an understanding of policies, principles, and processes and their application related to government-owned, privatized and leased housing. Instruction focuses on GOQ management to include daily operations, planning, programming, budgeting, furnishings management, cost reporting and customer service. Courses close 14 days prior to the class start date. At that time, more information about the course, including specific instructions, etc...will be emailed out. PRIMARY AUDIENCE: Senior Housing Manager, GOQ Liaison, Housing Program Manager, Privatized Program Manager, BCE/Deputy BCE, Resource Element Personnel, FMS Manager, and Enlisted Aide. SECONDARY AUDIENCE: Installation Management Flight Chief, DET and AFCEC Staff, Privatized Management Office (PMO) Staff (PMO staff not AF funded). GRADE: Target grade is GS-7 (or Equivalent) and above PREREQUISITES: Must have at least 1 General Officer Quarters at home installation or have PCS orders to an installation with at least 1 General Officer Quarters.
