OBJECTIVE:  Provide students a basic financial management foundation to execute their daily duties efficiently and effectively in a civil engineer organization.

DESCRIPTION:  This is an educational course and not intended to train individuals on home station process and procedures. It is intended to educate students on theories and principles so they may apply knowledge obtained in class to their duties and responsibilities at any duty station. The curriculum initially covers fundamental Air Force financial management principles and theories as well as fiscal law. The students then learn how to apply these fundamentals to a civil engineer organization. Furthermore, students gain an understanding of related base civil engineering functions and their interrelationship with AFCEC and AFIMSC. While most portions of the class are delivered via lecture or guided discussion, many lesson objectives are reinforced through individual and group exercises.

SECONDARY AUDIENCE:  All other CE personnel, AFCEC Analyst, AFIMSC Analyst, Comptroller Squadron Budget Officer, Comptroller Squadron Civil Engineer Budget Analyst
