OBJECTIVE:
For each student to implement Tri-Service policy and analyze cost estimates to more effectively plan, program, budget and execute Air Force infrastructure requirements.
DESCRIPTION:
This course prepares students for the role of senior unit cost engineer in the project programming process. This role involves, evaluating life-cycle cost analyses, analyzing estimates from the perspective of Basis of Estimate, the actual costs involved, and the risks involved, and finally, analyzing and responding to the construction market dynamics.
FUNDING: This course is not centrally funded. All students will be required to obtain unit-funds for their TDYs to AFIT to take the course.

PRIMARY AUDIENCE:
Senior base estimators who have graduated WENG 400, have a role in advising, supervising and reviewing estimates by others, and ideally have a minimum experience of two years in dealing with project estimates
