OBJECTIVE:  For each student to understand the key requirements of the Hazardous Material Management Process (HMMP) and how it impacts the use of hazardous materials in the workplace.

DESCRIPTION:  This seminar will consist of lessons important to personnel across the installation that use or manage hazardous materials. Specific topics covered will be: 1) an overview of key regulations that manage hazardous materials; 2) an overview of the Air Force Manual (AFMan) 32-7002, Chp 3. Hazardous Materials Management; 3) identification of a hazardous material; 4) proper storage of hazardous materials; and 5) the authorization process for use of a hazardous material.
