New Course Catalog Course Description

COURSE: WMGT 527 Fire and Emergency Services Flight Leadership

OBJECTIVE:  Each student is prepared to lead a Fire and Emergency Services Flight within a Civil Engineer Squadron.
DESCRIPTION:  In this course, students apply leadership principles to flight-level supervision and management. Topics include F&ES operations, logistics, readiness, and mission partnerships. Students will apply concepts within discussions, case studies, and practicums.

CEUs: 3.0
PRIMARY AUDIENCE:  CEF flight chiefs and flight superintendents (enlisted and civilians); either incumbent or selected for a specific position
SECONDARY AUDIENCE:  Deputy flight leaders and personnel vectored for future flight leadership positions
PREREQUISITES: Fire Officer III, Fire Inspector II, Fire Inspector II Course
