We are the Air Force's primary provider of graduate education in physics and nuclear engineering. Our graduate programs emphasize practical research and its transition into operations within the USAF, DoD, and other government agencies. We are seeking talented military and civilian students to join our department. As you browse our website and become acquainted with our degree programs, faculty, and research, we hope that you will consider visiting us. Additionally, AFIT offers fully funded research assistantships to non-military affiliated U.S. citizens to study at AFIT. Post-Doctoral Research Assistantships are also available for highly qualified individuals desiring to support DoD STEM. To explore these opportunities, please send unofficial copies of your transcripts, GRE scores, and a summary of your research interests to Col Nathan B. Terry. We look forward to working with you.
