The mission of the International Directorate is

1. To educate and support international military officers, DoD personnel, and their families
2. To enable AFIT to accomplish US Security Assistance objectives
3. To support USAF involvement in international affairs and build lasting military relationships with the international community
4. To serve as The International Liaison Officer for the Air Force Institute of Technology
