Master Sgt Eldridge: Hi I’m Master Sgt Eldridge Master Sgt Flores: Hi my name is Master Sgt Flores Sgt Wyatt: Hey how you doing I’m Sgt Wyatt Master Sgt Eldridge: And I just recently completed the course with AFIT Sgt Wyatt: Let me tell you… Davis: Being a part of this class was a phenomenal experience Sgt Wyatt: There was so much insight that I learned from this course Begenu: In my position I actually work with different types of individuals, different personalities and people from all walks of life and all over the world. Master Sgt Flores: And what this course did for me is it gave me a lot of insight into different peoples personalities Davis: And not only do you better understand who you are and what motivates you but also what motivates the people around you as well it was so interesting to see others peoples eyes light up as they reflecting on their work relationships and why those relationships have the dynamics that they did. Sgt Wyatt: Umm, I learned more about myself, I learned more about the people that I work with personnel and how to identify certain traits in them Begenu: I feel that it made me grow as a individual also make me a better supervisor and just team mate and team member. Master Sgt Eldridge: I really went deep onto the different character traits and behaviors that people have and identify and yourself other people and how to better communicate between the two. Um, styles. Master Sgt Flores: What motivates them and how they are affected by different stimulus Master Sgt Eldridge: The cognitive styles inside a team and what there roles are, and what there place and the way that they interact with each other inside the team Master Sgt Flores: This course has been really effective in being able to lead my team of about 20 people to get them to effectively complete the mission Master Sgt Eldridge: For me personally I’ve been able to apply it for the people that I work with and how and utilizing that I can now best put certain people in certain positions with certain responsibilities and authority and I can better predict and understand how they will perform in those scenarios. Begenu:Being in the military for 15 years I thought I kind of learned already quite a bit because we actually attend courses to teach us these specific skills but the amount of additional resources I was able to acquire from this course was kind of actually mind blowing Davis: I have to say without a doubt being a part of this class was, uh, priceless Sgt Wyatt: It’s just been really rewarding and I can’t imagine that it wouldn’t be anything but super beneficial to anybody else that might take the course Begenu: I highly recommend this course to anybody who if you are fortunate enough to have this opportunity definitely take advantage of it. Davis: It was enviable and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to better understand themselves and the their working relationships with others Begenu: A plus on this and if I have the opportunity on this I would actually take it again so definitely take advantage of it.
