This workshop equips students with the practical skills to construct a robust and defensible Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE) for Services Acquisitions. Students will learn how to translate service requirements and market research into cost estimates utilizing direct and indirect cost elements. Through practical exercises, students will compare direct labor and fully burdened cost estimation methods. Students will also learn how to source labor wage data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and the General Services Administration (GSA) websites and when to use each in building a comprehensive IGCE.
