This course provides Airmen with an introduction to business intelligence concepts with a focus on Microsoft’s Power BI offering within the Department of the Air Force environment. This course will introduce students to Data Analytics Expressions and the Power BI Graphical User Interface, to provide a foundational understanding of Power BI. Airmen are shown how to leverage Business Intelligence (BI) concepts to advance the mission of the organization through the utilization of key performance indicators and metrics. The overall objective is to equip Airmen with the ability to connect to a data source using Power BI, generate business intelligence reports from that data connection and publish their analytical reports to the cloud-hosted Power BI service.
