Hey, I'm Tony Jones and I am here to tell you about FAM 104, Fundamentals of Acquisition Management.
FAM 104 is mandatory initial skills training for 6X officers. This includes 61 C and Ds. 62s and 63s. It is also required training for Palace Acquire 1101 civilians.
The course is open to anyone that is in an acquisition coded position.
AM 104 will teach you basic project management skills while building an acquisition plan.
You will also learn about Air Force and DoD acquisition processes from requirements to sustainment.
If you are 6X officer, AFPC will automatically schedule you for a FAM class. You will receive a notice 30 to 60 days out from the start of your class. Everyone else may register online.
