Hi, I’m Major Michael Carter, course director for LOG 099. Having our own perspectives on Logistics based on career fields, organizations, and experiences can make it hard to see the bigger picture of the logistics systems that keeps the Air Force flying.
LOG 099 can help. This course gives a peek behind the curtain for students across all career fields and introduces the processes that are used throughout an Air Force systems life cycle.
LOG 099 is an online, self-paced course that will explore acquisition, sustainment, distribution, and disposition of systems as they move through their life cycles, laying the foundation for logistics concepts that you may not be familiar with.
This course is designed for all Airman in all specialties, even those brand new to the Air Force, including up to seasoned loggies who simply want to broaden their perspective.
By understanding these key processes and players, and how they impact logistics support throughout the systems life cycle, you will have a better understanding of how you as a Logistician fit into the overall Air Force mission.
