Hi, I'm George Bailey. I'm the course director for SYS 400, Current Topics in Acquisition & Support. This course is sponsored by SAF/AQH and presented by AFIT. SYS 400 is an outstanding opportunity to learn about issues and initiatives impacting experienced acquisition support professionals - like you - because your environment is dynamic, and you have busy schedules. AQ understands that you're challenged to keep up with the multitude of policy changes and new initiatives. This course covers many of those ever-changing topics. The course enables students to listen to and engage with the experts. SYS 400 is intended for experienced, mid-level managers with at least 10 years in acquisition at Product Centers, Air Logistics Complexes, Test Centers, Laboratories, or MAJCOMs. The course carries 24 CLPs. We conduct live-streaming offerings of SYS 400 annually, including the US Space Force and US Air Force, to provide the same content to those students who can't make it to Wright-Patt to sit in our classroom. The speakers are live-streamed, and you can ask questions and provide feedback directly. We have an excellent lineup of presenters this year to include general officers and SES’s, PEO and program office representatives, headquarters AFMC, and Air Staff, all bringing you the latest from their daily world, topics you've seen lately, or ones that are about to cross your desk... information you can apply to your jobs right now! For more information about SYS 400 or other classes that AFIT offers, visit AFIT.edu/LS. I know you'll enjoy the course, and I look forward to seeing you in a future class. Thank you.
