The Civil Engineer School provides professional continuing education to over 10,000 civilians and Department of Defense military members each year. We deliver the initial skills education for all newly commissioned Air Force Specialty Code 32E Civil Engineer officers and newly hired Civil Engineer civilians. The Civil Engineer School's courses are aligned to the specific needs of the Civil Engineer career field by providing technical, environmental, and engineering management-focused instruction. Courses reach a world-wide audience through in-resident classes at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base; internet delivered classes; on-site education, in-person classes at military installations; and distance learning from an in-house broadcast studio. Courses are offered for continuing education units (CEUs). The curriculum is reviewed annually by the Education and Training Review Committee of the Air Force Civil Engineer career field to ensure it is meeting the educational needs of the officers, enlisted and civilians of the career field.
