WKSP 0689 builds upon Agile foundations by examining how development, security, and operations work together to continuously deliver secure, reliable, and mission-relevant software capability. Students explore DevOps and DevSecOps as organizational and technical approaches rather than simply collections of tools. Instruction emphasizes collaboration, automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, software assurance, testing, cybersecurity, operational feedback, and the integration of security throughout the software lifecycle. The workshop demonstrates how Agile delivery provides the iterative foundation for DevSecOps and how DevSecOps extends that foundation through engineering practices that enable teams to build, test, secure, deploy, observe, and improve software continuously. Topics include DevOps culture, continuous integration and continuous delivery, automated testing, software assurance, security integration, configuration management, deployment pipelines, feedback loops, monitoring, risk management, and governance within mission-critical environments.
