For online courses, completion dates on the certificate may lag actual completion dates, therefore students may have completed the course on a date earlier than what is on the certificate.
The fundamental goal of this course is to save lives, time, and treasure. Wargaming can support this goal by helping to develop better strategists and better strategies. However, the value of wargaming depends greatly on how effectively the wargame is designed, developed, and conducted, as well as how appropriately the gained insights are applied. The course is designed to help students begin their development as an effective wargame participant and user who will be capable of effectively participating in, and applying the insights from, wargames. The wargame 201 course is a separate follow-on course/workshop that covers tasks of a Wargame action officer and the cycle of defining, designing, developing, executing, analyzing and reporting on wargames.
