Consulting is a traditional faculty function and an essential pillar of the mission of the School of Systems and Logistics. Through consultation, our knowledgeable faculty are able to utilize their specific expertise and skills to assist our customers in solving difficult and complex problems.
We are here to serve you and have many teaming arrangement options that support your organization or process improvements. This includes consultations in areas of management and technical expertise, and small group or team facilitation. AFIT/LS has a long and proven history of providing premier consulting services to acquisition and sustainment program offices, depot maintenance organizations, and many other DAF organizations.
This service is free with only TDY costs if necessary.Some examples of how Consulting with AFIT/LS can create solutions include: applying Theory of Constraints to a process; reviewing program documents; helping guide the creation of digital models or architectures; and much more. We also offer the option to design custom courses or workshops to suit your organizational needs.

The DAF created a digital literacy core competency for its workforce which involves taking advantage of technologies such as high-speed information technology pipelines, cloud-hosted data repositories, cloud computing, the Internet-of-Things, artificial intelligence, and digital data management and visualization. Key to this enterprise is a workforce that has the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to implement these technologies, and a workplace culture that embraces them.
